About Me
I believe that we are all capable of healing. My role is to create a trusting space where learning, change, and growth can occur. We’ll work together to explore your story and make a plan for your healing journey.
I specialize in using EMDR to help adults heal from trauma and build a fulfilling future. I completed a 50-hour EMDR training with EMDRIA in 2022. Since then I’ve integrated EMDR as a cornerstone of my practice and it’s been a privilege to accompany my clients through this life changing work.
I have a relaxed and casual style. I love to use humor, when appropriate, and I definitely want to see photos of your pets/babies/plants/art etc. We are here to do really hard work AND I want to get to know you as a whole person.
I’ve worked in a variety of settings including a college counseling center and a large outpatient primary care clinic. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. I specialize in helping people heal from trauma, improve relationships, and increase understanding of our inner emotions.
I’ve lived in Atlanta, San Francisco, and Boston. I currently live in Portland, ME with my wife and cat.
